This internal weight keeps the mat fixed in position shot after shot.

  • ZERO-SHIFT DESIGN – patent-pending internal 11.5 lb steel plate combined with a textured rubber base delivers mass-based stability to prevent mat movement during practice.

Heavy duty mat!

This thing is made to survive. Heavy duty, comes with a great caring handle and is much bigger than the mat that my net came with. Easy to set up, it is a little taller so standing on a mat next to it will help but we only use it to practice chips, not full shots. I would definitely suggest it since it doesn’t move at all because if the weight and it’s worth it!

Heavy Quality Turf for Backyard Practice

This is a nice piece of turf on a thick and heavy rubber mat. It measures roughly 12" x 26" and about .75" thick. It has a carry handle that makes it easy to move around. There are two tee holders that come with and you can easily insert from the back. This is a nice option if you don't want to tear up your lawn or don't have grass to practice on. It's heavy enough that it stays put and doesn't slide around during use. Overall this feels like a quality, heavy duty, durable mat that worked well for golf practice in my backyard.

Extremely high quality golf practice mat

When the package arrived with the Palladium Golf mat, I was surprised by the weight of the package. It was substantiel and required both hands to lift it. On the scale, the mat weighed in at 11.4 pounds!! I compared it to my standard amazon foam mat and it was leaps and bounds better. This is what i would consider a professional grade product. I took a few swings with my irons and wedges and it felt more realistic than the mats found at my local driving range.Having the ability to practice my swing at home is a game changer and allows me to tweak my swing when i can't get to the range . It is such a useful tool and I will be using the Palladium mat for a long time. It is a very durable product and worth the extra cost. Included are two tees which you can use any existing tee that you may have.Keep on swinging!

heavy duty small mat

I ordered this thinking it was going to be a padded mat, but it is a very heavy, small grass mat with a hole to insert a golf tee. So, it has become our front door welcome mat. It easily weighs about 10lbs and will definitely stay put. I don't know anything about golf, but it looks like it is well made for being used as a hitting mat. The little tee thing comes included in the box.

A Durable Hitting Mat That Delivers The Essential Attributes Needed During Practice Sessions

The media could not be loaded.

An impressive design for a hitting mat, the sloped beveled edges are a practical feature to prevent tripping. The artificial grass is high density with a tight gauge and short pile height. It is securely fitted in the rubber frame without any gaps or frays along the edge. It provides a good consistent smooth ball roll. The rubber base is thick, flexible and pliable enough that it creates a super firm grip on diverse surfaces. A seriously weighted hitting mat that truly does not budge during practice sessions. The tee holder insert easily and provides a good grip to maintain the tee’s position. Bonus feature is when you play on grass and a tee breaks a new one will push it through, no need to lift up the mat every time.A one and done weighted hitting mat so to speak, versatile and portable for multiple uses. The handle is good for lifting the mat off of a surface, although it significantly bends from the weight when used to actually carry it by the handle. We are primarily using this mat for chipping practice along with the Palladium chipping net, they make a great dynamic duo. An ideal way to insure that there are no divots while our grandson is still learning and my husband is trying to improve his chip shot. We live in the North East so it will defiantly be used during the winter months indoors for year round practice. I prefer the dimension of this mat for easy storage and repositioning during practice to switch things up. A durable hitting mat that delivers the essential attributes needed during practice sessions.

Great for practice in the back yard

I love this mat. It is heavy for sure. The quality seems very nice and i am not worried about wearing it out quickly. It is perfect to use in my backyard without tearing up the lawn. I have a golf net and this makes for great practice in both driving and chipping into my chipping station. It is stable and holds its position well. I feel like it is a very good value as well. Overall a good solid piece of turf.

Smaller but Great substitute for real grass, though it can still wiggle a bit

If you're like me and don’t always have access to pristine greens (or just want to practice without leaving the house), this mat is a really fun way to get some reps in. Whether you're working on short chips or just setting up a little indoor/outdoor putting practice, it feels surprisingly close to the real thing underfoot. The turf quality itself is solid and gives you a nice, clean surface to hit off of when your yard isn't cooperating. It has a really good weight to it right out of the box—you can definitely tell it’s heavy duty when you pick it up. That weighted core helps hold its ground pretty well, though if you’re putting a good amount of power behind your swing or working on repeated practice, it can still shift around a tiny bit on you.Overall, it’s a super fun, heavy-duty little mat for practicing whenever the urge hits—just be ready to nudge it back into place every now and then if you're taking bigger swing

Heavy-duty golf mat with incredible stability and realistic turf.

This 2'x1' Heavy Duty Golf Hitting Mat is an outstanding training tool for practicing swings indoors or outdoors. It features a weighted iron base and a non-slip design that locks the mat firmly in place during full swings, preventing any unwanted sliding. The shock-absorbing turf feels realistic and helps reduce wrist and elbow strain, while staying completely flat without curling edges. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a high-quality, stable mat to dial in their golf game.

Heavy, stable, and actually stays in place

This is probably the biggest difference I’ve noticed compared with cheaper golf mats. It’s heavy enough that it stays put when you hit from it instead of sliding around after every swing. The turf feels good under the club and has held up well so far. I’ve used it for iron and wedge practice and it gives you a solid surface without feeling overly hard.It is smaller than a full practice mat, but I actually like that because it’s easy to store and doesn’t take up much space in the garage. Just keep in mind that it’s surprisingly heavy for its size.Overall, really solid practice mat and worth it if you’re tired of constantly repositioning lighter mats.

“Stable, Heavy, and Great Turf Feel — Perfect for Indoor or Outdoor Chipping Practice”

This golf hitting mat is a legitimately solid piece of practice gear. The 2’ x 1’ size is ideal for tight spaces, and the turf has a realistic feel that reacts well to different chip styles. The standout feature is definitely the patent‑pending weighted core — it works exactly as advertised. Once you set the mat down, it stays put. No sliding, no shifting, even on smooth indoor floors or concrete patios. The turf density feels premium, and it doesn’t get torn up easily. The backing has enough flex to absorb impact without feeling flimsy, and the edges stay flat instead of curling. It’s easy to move around, but once it’s in place, it feels locked in. For outdoor use, it sits evenly on grass and gives a consistent hitting surface. For the build quality, stability, and realistic turf feel, the price is more than fair. If you want a heavy‑duty chipping mat that won’t skate across the floor and gives you a clean, reliable surface for practice, this one delivers exactly what it promises

Started out skeptical

I was looking for a way to practice my indoor swing and protect my floors at the same time. When I unboxed it, I was concerned about how small it initially seemed. I decided to try it on my wood patio deck first just in case. I absolutely love it so far. The size is just fine, and on my deck I could hear a gentle thump when it hit. It’s extremely durable and I have yet to notice any damage after my first 2 weeks of use. I've been going out daily for a few minutes to practice my swing around a dozen times. On my first day, I'm already feeling a difference as I work to correct my stance. As someone returning to golf and deciding to start without a coach, I'm glad I ordered this as a useful training aid. If I practice what I'm learning for a few minutes a day, I'll develop the right muscle memory a lot faster. The mat's weight is more than heavy enough that it doesn't move when I swing and hit the mat. It also has a handle in the end, which makes it easier to carry.

Compact, heavy-duty mat that actually stays in place

The weighted core is the standout feature of this golf mat.Unlike lightweight practice mats that slide, bunch up, or move after every shot, this one stays planted while hitting and chipping. That makes practice much less frustrating because I am not constantly stopping to reposition it.The turf has a realistic feel and provides enough cushioning to practice comfortably without feeling excessively soft. The mat is compact and easy to store, but still provides enough hitting area for focused practice. It works equally well in the garage, backyard, or other practice area. The smaller size makes it best for chipping and controlled practice rather than a complete driving station setup. Overall, it feels durable, performs as advertised and offers a solid hitting surface that does not slide around.Great quality to value ratio !

Great golf mat!

Nice heavy mat. I’ve had a few of them, but this one is the best so far. It stay in place on every swing and the fake grass does also. Likey!

Improved my game so much!

This golf mat has been a great addition to my practice setup! The 2' x 1' size is convenient and easy to place indoors or outdoors, while the heavy-duty construction gives it a solid, durable feel. I especially like that it stays in place during swings instead of sliding around, which makes practice much more comfortable. The turf provides a nice surface for working on my swing and hitting technique, and the weighted design makes the mat feel stable and dependable. It’s compact enough to store easily but still gives me plenty of room for practice. The quality feels excellent, and it has held up well through repeated use.Overall, this is a practical and well-made golf hitting mat for anyone looking to practice at home or set up a convenient practice area. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to other golfers!

Will Hold Up to Heavy Use

This hitting mat is much heavier than I expected, and that's a good thing. The weighted base keeps it from sliding around, even on solid surfaces, so I can focus on my swing instead of chasing the mat. The turf has a realistic feel, and the overall construction is very well designed and built to last. Great choice for practicing chipping at home or having a junior golfer learning to hit.

Stays put! Heavy and durable.

Very well made training device and hitting mat. The feel is very nice and hitting off of it is definitely a more premium feel than your typical range mat. It's super nice given the weight that one side has a handle to make it very easy to move around however, it does feel like it might give way at some point so nice for just positioning it for than carrying. Was a bit of smell when first opening it but that off gassed pretty quickly and went away. The tee holder is also a nice touch to have built in. Super easy to use and feel like it's a very fair price for the quality and durability of it. Would recommend for upgrading your practice sessions.

Amazing golf mat, super heavy.

This golf mat is extremely premium. It doesn't move at ALL! It's advertising holds true, it does not shift or jerk at all. It's perfect for practicing golf at home and it feels very heavy and even more premium than the mats at my local golf course. I am super impressed with the quality and the packaging and durability of this is bar none the best I have ever had from a golf mat. This is the real deal, amazing brand and I will definitely look out for more stuff from them in the future.

Doesn't slip at all!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super impressed with the build quality on the ProStrike. The weighted base makes a huge difference—it stays completely flat and doesn't slide around or bunch up after taking full swings. Turf feels surprisingly realistic, too.
