I like: The swing path feedback makes it easy to see where the club is actually traveling through impact.Alignment guides are useful for working on setup, direction, and consistency. Compact enough for indoor practice but durable enough to use outside as well. A practical training aid when you want immediate feedback without needing electronics or an app.I do not like: The hitting surface can show wear after repeated practice in the same area. It takes a little time to learn how to interpret the marks and make the right swing adjustments.
My husband is obsessive about trying to improve his swing, it may be because i out drive him and it drives him crazy, but he wants every training aid he can have to help improve his drive. He really likes this swing path mat, it gave him good insight into how different positions of his arms, hands, and feet have on his swing. The quality of this mat is super nice and i'm very happy with the thickness and the grip on the bottom adds great stability when hitting. I only thought about using this for him to practice his driving but we realized it can help with improving every aspect of golfing from driving to iron to putting performance. The price is comparable to similar products and i do think the quality is worth the price.
This Palladium Golf Hitting Mat is one of the better practice mats out there for making sure you're striking your irons correctly.I really like that you can use it both indoors and outdoors. It’s weighted nicely, so when I use it inside, it doesn't shift around on my laminate flooring or thin pile carpet. Outside, it stays put on concrete and on top of my thin pile hitting mat. The only time it moves around a little bit is when I place it directly on the high-pile artificial grass in my backyard. When practicing without a ball, the feedback pattern is great for seeing your divot path and verifying if you’re making contact in the right spot. It’s super easy to swipe and reset, and the top surface is made of a really soft material. With some other sequin/path mats I’ve tried, taking a full swing leaves an annoying plastic residue melted or scraped onto the sole of your irons. This one doesn't do that at all and keeps your clubs clean.I also use it outside with real balls hitting into my net, and it's fantastic for confirming whether you're taking your divot after the ball like you're supposed to. Whether you're making dry swings in the living room or taking full swings with a ball, it’s a great training aid for visual feedback and dialing in your iron play.
I’ve been spending more time working on my golf swing, and one thing that’s always helped me is getting immediate feedback instead of just guessing what happened. This swing path training mat does exactly that by showing where the club traveled through impact, making it easier to spot whether I came too far inside or outside on the ball. It’s a simple concept, but seeing the mark after each swing makes it easier to make small adjustments instead of repeating the same mistake over and over. The mat has enough surface area that I felt comfortable hitting off it, and it stayed put well during practice. I’ve used it in the backyard, but I can also see it being useful indoors with a net when the weather isn’t cooperating. My 5-year-old wanted to take a few swings too, and he thought the swing marks were pretty cool, even if his path looked more like modern art than a golf swing. Definately a useful training aid if you’re trying to build a more consistent swing. It won’t magically fix your mechanics, but it gives you immediate visual feedback that makes practice feel more productive than just beating balls aimlessly.
As someone who enjoys working on their golf game without always making a trip to the driving range, this hitting mat has been a useful addition to my practice setup. The built-in swing path feedback provides immediate visual clues about club path and contact, making it easier to identify mistakes and work on consistency. The mat feels durable and stays in place well during use. I like that it can be used both indoors and outdoors, which makes it easy to practice year-round. Instead of guessing what went wrong after a poor shot, the feedback markings help show whether you're coming over the top, swinging too far inside, or making solid contact. It's simple to use, requires no batteries or apps, and provides valuable information after every swing. Both beginners and experienced golfers can benefit from having instant feedback during practice sessions.Overall, this is a practical training aid that helps make practice more productive and gives useful insight into your swing mechanics without requiring expensive equipment or lessons
This is perfect. My husband has been using it daily to help improve his golf game. The quality is nice and durable. We have it in the garage where he practices in the summer when it's to hot and it gets used daily. In the evening he takes it outside where he practices. It's very portable and easy to move around the house or yard. It's helped his game and he said it's been a big asset in training. He recommends it.
I wanted to like it and was excited to order it. It’s made with super cheap rubber backing that ripped after a couple swings. Carpet material came damaged and was already being pulled out when I got it. Save your money on this one.
So I'm not good, at all, and don't hit cleanly all the time. I've caught the back of the mat many a time and now it's kind of shot. And while they say there are replacement mats, they don't sell them. Works great if you hit it clean though.
Definitely disappointed ordered this off the what I know now is a fake image that looked like turf. This this thing was 45$ you can some the the same thing got 15$ on amazon. The build is cheap the pad was coming off from the box and you can see the glue or adhesive barley holding onto it. Going to be returning it
I have been wanting to try one of these for a while. They are portable and a decent weight to grip the ground as you are using it. I have hit it pretty hard a couple of times and it is holding up. It seems to be a really good training aid to see your swing path and visually see why I am slicing the ball. It is a versatile tool using any club and we will see if I can shave a stroke of two off my game.
This hitting mat has been a fantastic addition to my golf practice setup. Coupled with my new Palladium practice net, it has really helped improve my game by giving me a consistent place to work on my swing, alignment, and swing path. I’m also impressed with the overall quality, since everything I’ve gotten from Palladium so far seems to be very well made and built to hold up. This mat and net combination has definitely taken my practice sessions to the next level!
Palladium makes exceptional quality golf training gear, and this hitting mat is no exception. It's a clever training aid that provides instant feedback on your swing path, making it much easier to see what you're actually doing versus what you think you're doing.I've been using it to evaluate and improve my swing, and it works really well. The visual feedback is immediate, making it a useful tool whether you're practicing indoors or outdoors. It's especially helpful for identifying in-to-out or out-to-in swing paths and making adjustments over time. The mat itself feels well made and durable, with a quality construction that should stand up to plenty of practice sessions.Bottom line: a smart, effective golf training aid that's well built, easy to use, and excellent value. Another high-quality product from Palladium. 5/5.
This Palladium golf hitting mat gives me a convenient way to work on my swing without having to make it to the driving range. The swing path feedback is the feature I find most useful because I can actually see where the club traveled through impact and make adjustments on the next swing. The mat material feels durable and provides a comfortable hitting surface without feeling excessively hard under the club. It stays fairly stable during practice, and the size gives me enough hitting area without making the mat cumbersome to move or store.I also like being able to use it indoors or outdoors, which makes it much more versatile throughout the year. Setup is basically effortless, and the clean golf-style appearance looks good in a garage, backyard, or practice area. For the durable material, useful swing feedback, easy setup, portable size, and ability to practice in different locations, this hitting mat is a good value for the money.
This golf mat has made a real difference in my game. It provides feedback on your swing path, which is exactly what I needed.I came from a softball background and had a chronic slice. After practicing on this mat with my home golf simulator, I've straightened out my swing significantly. Now I can hit a light draw or strike the ball pure and straight. The difference showed up immediately on the course. I play at least one or two rounds most weekends, and I'm hitting noticeably more fairways since I started using this mat.If you're serious about improving your golf swing, this mat delivers real results. I'd recommend it.
This is a terrific training aid to help identify your swing path. I love how thin it is because I can use it on top of my hitting mat without it causing my ball to sit too high. The textured bottom also allows it to grip to hard surfaces, allowing you to just drop it and practice your swing anywhere. The color change when you swing your club is very vivid, and easy to see. You can find similar training aids that are less expensive, but those don't have the build quality of this one. I imagine this mat will hold up for quite a long time with extended use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this swing trainer to help me stop doing weird stuff with my swing and it actually helps more than I thought. It kind of forces you to move the club the right way so you can feel what you are supposed to be doing. At first it felt awkward but after a few tries it started to make sense. I have been using it in the yard and before I hit balls and I can tell a difference. It is simple and does not take long to figure out. If your swing is all over the place like mine was, this is worth trying out.
This swing path trainer is easy to use and provides great feedback during practice. It helps build a more consistent swing and is a useful tool for golfers looking to improve their accuracy and technique.
This has been such a great help for fine tuning my swing. I love that I can just pack it in my golf bag to take with me! All of my friends have loved seeing their swing so far! Highly recommend for any golf enthusiast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG this swing path trainer is exactly what I needed to see what I was doing wrong! It has really helped me improve (and straighten up) my swing. I can take this anywhere because it is so portable. It's just the right size and the lines are so easy to see. Wish I'd gotten this when I first started golfing because it has really helped.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This golf training pad works great to practice my swing on. I love the high quality and the easy use of it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The swing path trainer will help a new golfer or an advanced golfer. You will see instantly if your path is off, helping you to correct your swing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is trying to perfect his golf swing and this is perfect for him. He can use this indoors to practice and get it right. High quality and durable also. Just what we were looking for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice practice mat for working on my golf swing. It has a good finish on the underside so it doesn't move when I'm using it. I really like that I can see the path of my swing to know what I need to work on as far as the motion of my club.
This has been great at helping to perfect our swings. The whole family can use and benefit.
